He believes their home must be able to withstand major earthquakes, tsunamis, and flooding. This belief stems from his personal experience during the tsunami disaster on March 11, 2011.

然而,晴海这一带的建筑均坐落在填海造地—“埋立地”之上。所谓埋立地(见下图),即通过填充海洋或河流区域而得来的人工土地,因本来的地质松软、容易沉降,且承载力较弱。尤其在南海海槽巨大地震的预测背景下,地基隐患令人忧心。
